Join New Way at the Akron Zoo!!
It’s an August One Day Wonder: Akron Zoo, Sunday Aug. 28 after church! Zoo members are free and can come and go as needed with their pass.
Discounted rate (possible with a minimum of 15 paid tickets): adults are $10 and kids(2-12) are $7. Parking is $3 per vehicle. Kids under 2 are free.
Purchase tickets by Aug 21: Please pay to New Way UMC mentioning it is for Akron Zoo. If possible, indicate the number of adults and children and number of vehicles that is included in amount. If we are unable to get 15 tickets the cost increases to regular admission price (adults $14 and kids $11).
If you are purchasing discounted tickets, you need to get a wrist band from us (not from the zoo workers) at the zoo welcome center before entering. We plan to be there close to 12 following the church service.
For those interested, a group of people will meet up at the Wendy’s in Massillon after church to go to the zoo following a quick lunch. Then they can get wristbands, if purchased, in the welcome center before entering the zoo.
The zoo closes at 5. You can bring in your own food and they also have a cafe to buy food there as well.
